How It Works

Green Cleaner kills soft body insects, their larvae & eggs, powdery mildew, mold, and fungus on contact without using harmful chemicals.

Green Cleaner spray will adhere to the target insect, larvae, and egg case. Its active ingredients then disrupt digestion and respiration. Green Cleaner also penetrates to dehydrate their entire body while suffocating them. There is no way an insect can become immune to suffocation or dehydration.

Green Cleaner IPM Best Practices

First, get rid of unhealthy foliage. Leaves that are curled, dried out, and yellowed should be pruned. Avoid pulling them off and throwing them on the ground. You should completely remove them from the area. Second, if you can control the temperature, cool the grow room and keep it as cool as possible. 65 degrees if possible 24 hours a day while you are trying to eliminate infestations. It will slow the growth of plants, but it will also slow the growth of bugs. Turn temps back to normal when you have regained control. Third, saturate thoroughly. You need to spray every surface of the plant. If you miss a bug or an egg, your infestation will start again. Make sure to cover the entire plant and everything around it.

Directions / Application

It’s really important that Green Cleaner gets mixed well before using. Before adding to water, shake well, and shake spray device every few minutes to keep it mixed.

Do not mix with other products or nutrients. Only mix with water. When using a pressurized pump type sprayer set to the finest spray possible. Let plants dry well before lights are turned back on. Spray in early morning outdoors. Don’t spray under direct hot lights, in strong sun or in temperatures over 75ºF.

DOSAGE

Heavy Infestation:

For Broad, russet, spider mites and aphids (2-3 day treatment), mix 2oz (60mL) per 1 gallon of water.

• • • Day 1: 2oz per gallon
    • Day 2: 1oz (30mL) per gallon.
    • Day 3: 1/2oz (mL) per gallon. If necessary

Spray and saturate the entire plant, and make sure to spray under underside of the foliage. Also, spray the pots and top layer of soil/media to kill and control any larvae, and fungus gnats.

Normal Infestation:

For Spider mites, aphids, thrips, white flies, fungus gnats and powdery mildew (1-2 day treatment), mix 1oz (30mL) per gallon of water.

    • Day 2 – 1/2 oz per gal

Preventative/Maintenance:

For fungus Gnats, white flies and powdery mildew, mix 1/2oz (15mL) per gallon of water.
